As of MyArcadePlugin Pro 5.30.0, MyArcadePlugin Lite 5.4.0 and MyArcadePlugin Starter 3.4.0 we have made it possible for site owners to enable site statistics and usage tracking from within the MyArcadePlugin settings page.
This feature will enable a site stats page where you can track your site activities and it will send non-sensitive data about how MyArcadePlugin is installed, how it is being used and some game stats data.
How to opt-out?
If you don’t like to use the stats feature and send tracking data for some reason, you can disable it anytime when visiting MyArcade -> Statistics and then click at Disable site stats at the bottom of the page.
What exactly is tracked?
Below is the list of the data we track:
- Site URL
- WordPress version
- WordPress locale
- Webserver software & version
- PHP version
- Some PHP settings like maximum post size, maximum input vars, memory limit, maxiumum upload size
- MySQL version
- Theme
- List of active plugins
- Total number of game plays
- Daily number of game plays
We use these data to make MyArcadePlugin even better.
The play stats are used to generate a top list of MyArcadePlugin sites which will be displayed on our Top List. This will additionally promote your site for free.
